Birthdays of my sons

We have been blessed with two sons.

Paras Dohar and Manas Dohar. We are immensly thankful to the GOD for his Kindness on us.

Paras Dohar born on 24.04.1993 and Manas Dohar on 26.04.1995. There is a differrence of only one day in their birthday celebrations. Every year this is a great occassion for all of us to celebrate their birthdays. I prepare special dishes like bhallas, channa, halwa,puris etc.. We all pray to the GOD in the morning with short Puja and our celebrations start.yesterday ,we celebrated birthday of Paras and tomorrow is the occasion to celeberate the birthday of Manas.We are thankfull to all our relatives and well wishers for their wishes.

TEA GARDENS AT PALAMPUR

Palampur is famous for its tea gardens.Palampur tea is famous througout the world.The gardens are terraced in such a manner that it gives a beautiful view when one looks at them.The weather at Palampur is very nice through out the year.In rainy season there are lots of rains and one should not venture out side without an umbrella because rain can start anytime in the day even twice or thrice in a day.It is unpredictable because clouds get over after rains and re-group after some time and the rain start.This kind of weather is very suitable for tea groves.But with the passage of time the farmers are not going for new tea plantations.Tea co-operatives have been formed yet the tea plantations have not been increased since this business has become very competitive and the farmers face marketing problems.
Tea gardens give a beautiful scenic beauty to Palampur.In north India tea gardens only found at this place which gives unique identity to the Palampur valley.

PALAMPUR, THE PLACE IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

Palampur is a very beautiful place in kangra District Of Himachal Pradesh.It is a valley which is spread in the lap of Himalayas,The Dhauladhar Ranges give a unique beauty to this place.This valley is full of perenial waters and always remain green through out the year.The sight of this place is very beautiful in the months of January to march when the tops of Dhauldhar Ranges are covered with snow and it soothes the eyes when you wake up in the morning and look at Dhauldhar ranges.
Dheera,is a small village about 20Kms from Palampur.It s a nice place with plain land and surrounded by small hills around.The view of Dhauldhar is very beautiful from this place. This village is having a population of about 8000 people mostly agriculturists families with one or two members in the Army or other services.People are simple and honest and are true Himachalies.
